Reflection/ Reflection

I would definitely give myself an A, on the reflection I wrote in first semester. In semester 2, my pictures have improved a lot. I take more photos so I could get the perfect one. I have also been using more tools on photoshop to improve my photo.  Original Reflection: I)   When analyzing the quality of my work, I use many tools to create a perfect image. I like to be creative and sometimes mess around with the tool bar and see what the outcome would be. I make sure that the contrast and focus is just right. I ensure all my work is on schedule and matches the necessities of the task            I make sure I put in a lot of effort when taking pictures. I will sometimes take double  the pictures  that are needed and sometimes triple. I do that so I can get the right picture that has the perfect angle and perfect lighting. I will in general do a great deal of setting up for the photograph to get precisely what I need. If a shot is hard, I do not give up, I thin

Letter to the Past

Dear Future Self,      To be successful in Creative Photography class, you must think outside the box. Take some time, be patient and the idea will come into your head. Most people will do the same pictures in one assignment, do not do that. Be creative and separate your ideas from everyone else's. Do not wait till last minute to do the projects, trust me it will not come out okay. I did that once and when I tried to add color to a house, it looked like it was melting. Also, take as many pictures as you can, the more the better and you can get the best perspective that you want. Adjust the lighting and angel of your object or person as many times to get the best shot. Do not rush the editing process in photoshop, because the teacher can tell.      My best photography work was the "Restoring Old Photos" assignment. This image was successful, because I was patient and was able to make an old photo look a bit more modern. I took away all the scratches and added some color

The Importance of Art

"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."      I do not agree with this statement one bit. Students should be allowed to express their talent/emotions into art, music, or theater classes. Art is so beautiful and everyone need to cherish it more.       My most favorite is music. I currently play the violin in orchestra. If that were to be taken away from me I would be so furious. Playing the violin allows me to express my talent and just have fun.       If this were to ever happen where the government spends all the tax dollars on training young people, there would be so much controversy in this country. There would be so much protests and fights happening that all the money would have to be spent on cleaning up the mess. If they really wanted to focus more on training young people, taking away art, music, and theater is not the way to
